Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking Part Time Online Visiting Professors interested in teaching students in our Doctorate of Nurse Practice program. This is 100% ONLINE teaching, an incredibly flexible and convenient way to share your experience and knowledge with those who aspire to enjoy the career success you already have. We are currently seeking candidates for the November 2018 session which will run from October 29th through December 22nd.
We care for our students and are dedicated to their success. To ensure we are offering the highest quality education we provide thorough training to all new faculty members. Our New Faculty Orientation is a 3 week session, part time and asynchronous, similar to taking online courses. There is no set schedule, you can work at your own pace and will be participating in group discussions, completing assignments, taking quizzes and a final exam.
The specific courses under consideration for the November 2018 session are:
NR 706 - Healthcare Informatics & Information Systems
The focus of this course is on assessment, planning, design and
analysis of healthcare informatics and information systems to generate
data-driven decisions in nursing and healthcare delivery.
NR709 - DNP Project & Practicum IV
The focus of this course is on evaluation of evidence-based practice
change using advanced nursing judgment in the practicum setting
NR 711 - Fiscal Analysis & Project Management
The focus of this course is on concepts and issues related to the
advanced nursing leadership role in financial planning, business
management, needs-based organizational assessment, and project
planning, management, and evaluation
